Double mow your excess grass clippings

Mowing your grass frequently is always a good practice, but every once in a while you decide to squeeze in a round of golf instead of mowing, and things end up like this. Leaving too many clippings on your yard can smother the grass, lead to fairy rings, and many other problems. Double mow your grass clippings by, mowing it once to knock it down, wait a few hours until the clippings dry out, raise your mower deck up a notch, and mow again. If the clippings are dry enough, they will disappear.
